How plans, top-ups, and payment are handled.
SeoGrep runs on monthly credit plans with optional top-ups — see /pricing for the current plans and credit costs. This page covers billing mechanics, not the prices themselves.
Beta note: Checkout is live — plans and top-ups can be bought today. New accounts still start on trial credits.
Plans and top-ups
Paid plans renew your credit balance every month. If you run out mid-month, a top-up adds credits without changing your plan. During beta, unused credits stay in your balance and don't expire.
What trial credits cover
Trial credits run the crawler, all three audits, reports, the quick-win finders, and the Search Console tools — the whole workflow, end to end.
Four tools are the exception: research_keywords, ranked_keywords,
analyze_backlinks, and compare_competitors read live data from a paid
third-party provider, so they need a paid credit balance. On a trial
account they refuse and charge you nothing. Any purchase — a plan or a
top-up — unlocks them, and your trial credits are untouched and stay
spendable on everything else.
Payment provider
Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record, so receipts, tax, and card handling go through their checkout — SeoGrep never stores your card details.
Checking usage
Ask "What's my credit balance?" to run get_credit_balance any time, or
open the dashboard's Usage tab for a full ledger of what each run cost.
Changing or cancelling
Plan changes and cancellations happen from the dashboard's Billing tab, which opens Paddle's billing portal.
