FAQ

Quick answers about MCP, clients, GSC, credits, data, and beta access.

Short answers to the questions that come up most before and during setup.

Beta note: Answers below reflect the current beta and may be refined before launch.

What is MCP?

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI clients call tools on a remote server. SeoGrep is an MCP server — your client calls its tools directly, inside your own chat.

Which clients work?

Claude Desktop, claude.ai, Claude Code, Cursor, and Windsurf. See Getting started for setup steps per client.

Do I need Google Search Console?

No. Your first crawl and audit run without it. Connecting GSC unlocks performance-based tools like decay analysis — see GSC connection.

What do credits cost?

Costs are draft numbers while we calibrate against real usage — see /pricing for the current table.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Your site data is never used to train AI models — see Security.

When does beta open?

We're inviting people from the waitlist in small batches. Join the waitlist on the homepage to get in line.

How do I delete my data?

Reach us via the waitlist email you used and ask for a deletion. It's a full purge — see Data retention.
