Data retention
What SeoGrep keeps, for how long, and how to request deletion.
SeoGrep keeps different data for different lengths of time. To close your account and have your data removed, contact us at support@seogrep.com and we will handle it for you — with one exception, the append-only credit ledger, described below.
Beta note: Retention windows below are the current beta policy and may be refined before launch.
What's kept, and for how long
- Crawl raw data — during beta, retained while your account is active.
- Search Console data — during beta, retained while your account is active.
- Report output — kept for the lifetime of your account, so you can reference or reshare it later.
- Credit ledger entries — the record of what you bought and what you spent. The ledger is append-only by design, so these entries are never deleted; see below.
Deleting your data
To have your data deleted, email us at support@seogrep.com and we will remove it. There's no self-serve delete option in beta yet, so reach out and we'll handle it for you.
What is not deleted
The credit ledger is the exception. It is append-only by design, so the entries showing what you bought and what you spent are kept as accounting records rather than erased. Those entries are tied to your account record, so that record is kept alongside them. Everything else above — crawl raw data, Search Console data and the stored token, and report output together with its share links — is removed.
The Privacy Policy states the same exception under Your rights, alongside the GDPR and KVKK rights it does not affect.
