First site audit

Recipe for the first full audit of a brand-new project — the new-site-audit MCP prompt.

This is the new-site-audit prompt in practice: point SeoGrep at a domain and get a full picture back in one sitting, no Search Console required.

Beta note: Tool names and the exact flow may still shift before launch.

Goal

Turn a bare domain into a first audit: crawl, technical checks, on-page checks, and a shareable report.

Example dialog

  1. You: "Set up example.com as a project and run a full audit."
  2. SeoGrep: runs setup_project, then crawl_site (returns a job_id it polls with get_job_status), then audit_onpage, audit_tech, and audit_schema once the crawl finishes.
  3. You: "Turn that into a report I can share." SeoGrep: runs generate_report and returns a link.

What you get

A chat summary of the top issues plus a shareable HTML report link — no GSC connection needed for this first pass.
